WHO IS VME?

Vision Ministries Eritrea is legally registered in Canada to train Eritrean ministers in collaboration with the Global University International www.globaluniversity.edu. Global University Eritrea is one of the 150 GUI offices in the World. GUE has a wonderful history with the GUI since 1982. VME sponsors Eritrean International Community to pursue theological studies in Undergraduate and Graduate programs in three areas of major studies: Bible & Theology, Christian Education, and Intercultural Studies.

The image indicates the first seminar attendees of how to reform the Spiritual Literature in Tigrigna language. Eleven of the attendees gave their heart to the vision and are the Vision Ministries Eritrea founders. Six of them are serving as Board members. Five others are committed financial, Technical and teaching staff supporters of the organization.

GLOBAL UNIVERSITY ERITREA

Global University International is accredited and approved by the Higher Learning Commission and the State of Missouri, respectively. Global University Eritrea is one of the 150 Global University International offices in the World.

The work of VME relies on prayers and donations of members, individuals, and churches. Your continued support to VME is appreciated.

In order to realize its vision, VME shall undertake the following activities:

  • Theological Training - In partnership with Global University, VME shall provide theological training to Eritreans in undergraduate and graduate programs.

  • Literature Ministry - VME desires to publish more Tigrinya commentaries that will help Eritrean preachers to understand biblical history and theology easily and in their own language and become effective in their sermon preparations.

  • Organizing and Hosting seminars on Hermeneutics - VME shall organize and host seminars/ workshops on how to interpret the Bible and how to prepare a Tigrigna Bible Commentaries to Eritreans in the area Christian publications.

  • Providing Financial Support to Students - VME plans to identify those eligible students and help them financially to obtain the theological education through the program that it runs in partnership with Global University.

Our Mission is sponsoring and training the Eritrean ministers, by a collaborative network with standard institutions and organizations.

Our Long-term plan is to establish a Theological University in Eritrea.

Our Strategy is to move the mission forward by:

  • Sponsoring the Eritrean community in Eritrea and in diaspora-Africa.
  • Facilitating affordable and subsidized education opportunities to Eritrean community in diaspora.
  • Cultivating a Collaborative Network with the Global University in Undergraduate and Graduate programs.
  • Collaborating with denominations and ministries to move the mission forward encouraging and helping VME-like networks internationally.
